Welcome to Kidz Go California - known as the Golden State, California stretches down most of the US's west coast, along the Pacific Ocean.  It is home to some of the world's best beaches and top surf spots, amazing national parks, tall trees, raging rivers, buzzing cities, diverse cultures plus the US's best-loved theme parks.

	Sea World - San Diego This is the US's original marine theme park with world favourites such as the Orca killer whales, dolphins and penguins performing in amazing shows.  There are also loads of rides and attractions such as 'Journey to Atlantis'  and 'Shipwreck Rapids' plus the recently opened Sesame Street 'Bay of Play' for young visitors.  www.seaworldsandiego.com
	Disneyland Park - Anaheim Gigantic theme park divided into  separate realms or 'worlds' such as Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Mickey's Toontown and more.  Each is filled with dozens of incredible rides, shows and activities!  You won't get through everything, (tips for parents) so pick the rides you want to do, be prepared for queues, and travel as light as possible. www.disneyland.com
	Universal Studios - Hollywood, Los Angeles Action-packed family entertainment and rides, a real working movie studio and behind-the-scenes of your favourite movies, such as The Simpsons, War of the Worlds, Shrek and more!  Rides include the Jurassic Park 80 ft raft plunge.  www.universalstudioshollywood.com
	Legoland - Carlsbad (1 hr south of Anaheim) 128 acre theme park created by the LEGO company.  Interactive attractions, family rides, more than 5000 LEGO models and restaurants, all geared towards families with children aged 2 - 12 years.   One day or multi-day passes available.  www.legoland.com
	Yosemite National Park - north east California The park covers nearly 1200 square miles of the Sierra Nevada of California.  You can visit all year, although some areas are inaccessble by road during winter months.  The park is family-friendly, offering activities for wee ones (6 yrs and under) and programs for ages 3 - 13 yrs.  Activities include climbing, biking and horse or mule rides.   www.yosemitepark.com
