Welcome to Kidz Go New York - the city consists of five boroughs - The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhatten, Queens and Staten Island.  Manhatten is the most popular holiday or vacation destination and major landmarks include The Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, New York Stock Exchange, Rockefeller Center, Broadway and Central Park.

New York has also been home to the world's tallest  buildings, including Empire States Building and the twin towers of the former World Trade Center.  Known affectionately as 'The Big Apple' , New York CIty is also sometimes referred to as "the City that Never Sleeps'. Manhatten is famous for its grid-like street system, where all the streets going across Manhatten, from the river to Central Park, are numbered.  It's easy, therefore, for the newcomer to find their way around and to work out roughly where a destination is by its address.
